This is the story of Orbico Group and their success in streamlining Asset Management with Asset Insider. Before adopting the software, they managed their asset registers and related processes in multiple Excel spreadsheets and ERPs. This was an inefficient setup and the decentralized data storage imposed a risk of losing information or working with the wrong type. Last but not least, this ecosystem could not support many asset management fundamental functions.

 

Orbico is the European largest distributor and supply chain management company operating in 20 countries, employing 8000 people. The company cooperates with more than 180 suppliers, manages 500+ global and local brands and supplies over 59,000 customer.

 

For Orbico the implementation of Asset Insider proceeded in 4 simple steps – trial, onboard, repeat, improve. With the start of effective productive work with Asset Insider began a constant improvement cycle, expansion of the asset portfolio, and roll out of new product features.

 

These days, the team of Orbico signs in Asset Insider with their existing Office 365 accounts, ensuring the single sign-on and corporate security policies are met. The company has adopted Asset Insider for full-scale management of its assets’ lifecycle. The fast implementation provides them with value for customers in their organization in two directions: time optimization and cost reduction.
