Sappience Surges to 14th Place in Deloitte’s ‘Companies to Watch’ Category Amidst Central Europe’s Tech Prowess

Sappience has secured a commendable 14th position in the renowned Companies to Watch category of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Central Europe 2023. This distinct recognition celebrates the achievements of emerging businesses that, though founded too soon to make the Fast 50 ranking, showcase remarkable growth and potential.

About the program: Technology Fast 50 and Companies to Watch

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe, now in its 24th year, is a program designed to acknowledge and profile the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the region. Winners are determined based on revenue growth over four years (2019 to 2022).

The ranking criteria for ‘Companies to Watch’ is specific: eligible companies must have a base-year operating revenue of a minimum of €10,000 (for 2020 and 2021) and a current year operating revenue of at least €30,000 (for 2022). Additionally, these companies must have been established on or before December 31, 2019.

Jakub Garszyński, Partner, CE Clients & Industries Leader at Deloitte, expressed his thoughts on the ranking:

The past year has posed challenges in the tech market, both globally and in Central Europe. Despite these difficulties, quite a lot has been happening in our region, and we’re excited to once again present the ‘Companies to Watch’ category as part of the CE Technology Fast 50 program.

Garszyński highlighted the refreshing sense of optimism embodied by these emerging companies, positioning them as drivers of positive change on a global scale. He emphasized that while the acknowledgment in the ‘Companies to Watch’ category is a significant achievement, it’s just the beginning of the recognition these companies deserve.

Sappience’s achievement as a company to watch

As one of the three Bulgarian companies featured in this exclusive classification, our notable position is underscored by an impressive revenue growth of 318%.

Angel Georgiev, our co-founder and CEO, expressed his thoughts on the team’s accomplishment, stating:

The recognition we receive from Deloitte is another confirmation that the direction we are going is the right one. Our company, team, and product (Asset Insider) are developing outstandingly. Starting from scratch, in a short time, we have reached successful projects on three continents. We acquired the highest competence from Microsoft in the world of low-code development, and now Sappience has also appeared in the prestigious ranking of Deloitte, for which the entire team has worked tirelessly for the past three years for this success.

The acknowledgment from Deloitte reflects our dedication and hard work and is also a testament to innovation and growth. As we continue our upward trajectory, we eagerly anticipate future successes and aim to secure a prominent position in the main CE Technology Fast 50 ranking in the years to come.
